Frederick Kiesler: Vision Machines showcases the experimental work of Frederick Kiesler (1890-1965), focusing on his Laboratory for Design at Columbia University in the late 1930s and early 1940s. Mobile Home Library, realized for the first time, sketches and devices exploring human sight and dreams. These works reflect Kiesler’s “Correalism” theory, viewing design as a continuous interaction between people and their environment. With over 100 drawings, photos, and studies, the exhibition delves into his unique vision of biotechnique and human perception.
